• Why don’t you have a checkout?

  • Who writes your blogs?

  • How do you rate your brands?

  • Do you get paid by the brands on your website?

These are some of the questions (and the answers) we get asked by our customers. Here are the answers.

Q: Why is there no check out on your website?

A: Although we talk about brands and products on our website, we don’t sell any products. Everything Sustainable is not a store. We’re an information-based website and our objective is to connect conscious consumers with sustainable brands and businesses. We provide links to our brands’ own websites and that’s where you can purchase their products.

Q: How do you rate the brands on your website?

A: We don’t rate our brands. Before they join our community, we ask all our brands to provide us with more details about the various ways in which they focus on sustainability. That relates to their product or service, the ingredients and materials used, product packaging, shipping and post packaging, and business governance. The brands themselves nominate three areas they focus the strongest on and you’ll find this information in their brand profile.

Q: Who writes your blogs?

A: Our blogs are written by our team members as well as contributors from all over the world whose knowledge and expertise we feel fit well into the scope of information we want to provide to our website visitors.

Q: Do you accept blogs from others?

A: Yes, we do! We love hearing from experts in the field. If you want us to publish your blog, please don’t hesitate to get in touch via the contact us page. You’ll hear from us shortly.

Q: How do I get access to your brands’ special offers?

A: As a newsletter subscriber (also called a ‘private member’) you will ocasionally receive promo codes to use on our brands’ websites so you can make use of their special offers. Sign up and keep an eye out for your first newsletter.

Q: Do you get paid by the brands on your website?

A: Making recommendations about certain products or services and getting compensated by the owners of those products or services is one way for us to earn an income. Wherever on our website we have included so-called affiliate links (which, if you click on them and make a purchase on the website, may sometimes mean we earn a commission) we disclose this in the article or on the page. More information is in our Affiliate Disclosure article in the footer of our website.
